Oprah Daily (formerly O, The Oprah Magazine) brought me on to refresh and elevate its brand identity across digital and social. I played a key role in developing the visual identity—shaping color palettes, typography, branded illustrations, and templates to create a cohesive design system. As a Senior Graphic Designer, I focused on translating editorial stories into visually engaging, interactive digital experiences, ensuring the storytelling online felt as dynamic and premium as print.
I also helped shape the brand identity for Oprah’s Favorite Things (2021 and 2022), designing the color palette, art treatments, category imagery, and landing page visuals, as well as video graphics and social content to drive engagement and product interaction.
Recognizing gaps in our social strategy, I took the lead in aligning Instagram content with editorial efforts, growing the account from 2M to 3.3M while increasing engagement and driving subscriptions. My work directly contributed to Oprah Daily becoming one of the top engaged brands across all Hearst-owned companies and I helped drive one of the largest YOY social follower increases in the network. My work not only expanded Oprah Daily’s reach but also strengthened its digital identity, making it a standout brand within Hearst’s portfolio.
I fully owned the creative direction for social—strategizing, designing, and managing content while occasionally managing our art director to assist in asset creation. In addition to leading content creation, I was often in front of the camera, hosting interview-style videos and entertaining segments for our audience, while also directing and shooting many of our social videos.
Additionally, I served as the lead social designer for Oprah’s Book Club during its transition under Oprah Daily and contributed design work to O Quarterly magazine.

Custom hand-illustrated Instagram posts that complemented editorial stories on Oprah Daily’s site or served as standalone engagement drivers. These designs were crafted to be highly shareable, encouraging audience interaction while reinforcing the brand’s visual identity and storytelling.

oprah’s favorite things 2021
I helped lead the visual design for OFT 2021, creating a vibrant and engaging digital experience that brought the campaign to life. I developed the main video imagery, animated key elements, & played a major role in shaping the color palette. I designed the icons featured in the index, crafted the category imagery, and created the thumbnail images for corresponding editorial features. I also designed interactive Instagram Stories & social assets to promote the list & amplify the brands.
